I have been around American Indian people for over 30 years and so it was natural for me to start playing the flutes from their part of the world in late 2002. I don't read music in any form nor do I have any knowledge of Western music theory - I simply play from the heart. I 'write' all my own music - Well, I don't 'write' anything but just wing it, which means playing as it comes. Sometimes I am led to think that my flutes play themselves!

Traditionally the flute may be played as an instrument to contribute to healing, but it is not exclusively sacred and may be played just for fun and enjoyment. I don't intellectualise about any of my music - It's up to the listener to derive what they will from it. It's created 'In The Now' and if recorded, it can be shared after 'The Now'.
