Brief Description Of Our License Options
All our music is royalty free. So free from any additional license
costs including performing rights licenses. This means our music
license options provide you with a fixed cost of using our music in
many business projects. What you pay is the only cost of using that
music. Like it should be really.
Please dont get licensing and copyright confused. The artists
all retain the ownership of their music even if they want to offer you
to use their music in the way described below. As they continue to keep
their music, it is owned by them, they then retain their copyright. So
this is royalty free not copyright
free. You dont need to own the copyright for all the music you
purchase anyway. Considering how long it takes to create one track,
this would be a costly way to purchase music as well.
Your License Choice. You
need to choose the license that matches your use. If your use is not
described accurately below when you pay for your license, then your
licesence will not legally support you in using Ambient Music Garden's
music and as such will not be legally licensed for being used.

Here's a brief description of our licenses for you. If the
license you want is not available with the product you would like to
purchase, please let us know and we will arrange something for you.
Royalty Free Wesbite & Internet License
Gives you the right to use the music for a single domain. This can be
owned by yourself, in the case of your own business for example, or you
can use it for a shared site, such as You Tube to promote your
services. Additional units of purchase are required for each domain.
Discounts available on larger orders.
The music must be used for background use only and is not offered as a
free download, in which case you need the Complimentary Services
license which provides a fair price to the artist for giving his or her
music away free.
Royalty-Free Production Music License
The
Royalty-Free Production Music License aims to provide you with music
that supports your own media productions but not products such as
software applications. Therefore this license gives you, the
purchaser, the right to use and distribute our music as background
music for products as described below.
This
license allows you to use our music for ONE the following uses and is
offered to a named individual, Sole Trader, Partnership or Limited
Company. The license will not allow for multiple uses or duplicate uses
across a single company. For more details please contact us.
The Royalty-Free Production Music License allows you do use our music
for one of the following:
- Meditation
and Guided Imagery Cds or downloadable audio recordings of no more than
5000 units (additions requires more than one license to the unit total
required),
- As background music for multimedia
(but not software that is designed to play music such as a music
jukebox) / video / DVD productions of no more than 5000 units
distributed either free or sold, or website of one domain,
- Audio book Cds or downloadable audio recordings of no more
than a total of 5000 units distributed either free or sold).
Royalty Free Music On Hold License
For
use as Music On Hold titled to a single company's telephony system
(PABX) of no more than 5000 extensions (larger PBX installations
require more than one license to the unit total required).
Royalty Free Public Places License
Provides you with the right to play our music as background music in a
public place such as a retail store, a restuarant or a hotel. As this
is royalty free (real royalty free) there are no additional performing
royalties to pay to a performing rights society since the music is not
registered, or wavered from performing royalties collection. You will
still need to purchase a performing rights license if you still choose
to use other music which is not offered under these terms in your
business.
Royalty Free Complimentary Services License (also
known as the Background Music For Mobile and Desktop Applications)
Provides you with the right to use the music within your own product,
either as a complimentary pieces of music within a music system you
sell for example, or, for background music to a software application.
Applications that are specifically for the playing of music, for
example, relaxation iphone apps are not covered in this license and are
negotiated separately.
Royalty Free Film Festival License
Provides the right to use the music as background music within a media
production that is shown at film festivals only.
Royalty Free Film Sync And Public National Distribution
License
Provides the right to use the music as background music within a media
production that is distributed via cinemas within one country (you must
state the country in the use field of the order).
Royalty Free Film Sync And Public World Regions Distribution
License
Provides the right to use the music as background music within a media
production that is distributed via cinemas within one region: USA,
Europe, Asia and the Far East or Southern America (you must state the
region in the use field of the order).
Royalty Free Sync & National Broadcast License (TV &
Radio)
Provides the right to use the music as background music within a media
production that is broadcast within one country.
Limitations of Use
You may not repackage or resell our music other than to
support your own products as described above.
You
may not trade in the music, i.e. to sell it as a music track, include
it on a music CD for sale, offer it for sale or re-licensing it or
other means of trading in the music as a music product.
You may not create derived works (remixes, re-produce, or add
vocals that are of a musical nature).
You may not make samples of any format to use with your own
or other's music.
You
must not resell our music but must be to support your own products that
are either given away free (e.g. as a marketing tool or a loss leader)
or sold with a reference to our copyright.
You
cannot use Kesseny Music for games and software
products unless you have previously agreed this with us.
