My name is Kenneth John Parsons, aged 55.
I live in Farnborough, Hampshire, UK, and have always had a strong interest in music.
I began setting up a small home studio about 4 years ago, and since then I have composed some very special pieces of music, which have been born with feeling from various aspects of life.
I have had a couple of pieces published, including a tune that was used as the theme for a dvd documentary about crop circles.
One review for my work: "Good ambient music is filled with intention and is deep in the truest sense.
Much of the ambient genre is filled with what I think of as discoveries… a chain of happy coincidences, with sometimes beautiful results.
But Kenneth John Parsons pieces are intended, composed, structured and sculpted into place: Interpretations of realities which only seem unreal in their depth.
"Sound sculptures, brilliantly formed out of reality into something that transcends the ordinary: these are abstractions which sharpen, rather than blur our experiences."
"I am rarely short for words when reviewing but when it comes to this artist in this mode, say nothing, just listen - utterly magical. ftlpope"
I hope that I can always live up to that kind of praise.
