Abressence biography.
“ Arbressence uses both reiki healing, and sacred chants as a vehicle for the healing energies of nature. He combines these elements with the ambient sounds of forests, interwoven with relaxing electronic textures as an aid to therapists, meditation, self healing, and relaxation.”
Arbressence is the work of Nathan Hacking; Nathan has been brought up in the countryside surrounded by rivers, forests, and open fields. It was not until he moved to a city in the south of England that he realized he had taken the beauty and healing rhythms of nature for granted. Moving to a busy city opened his eyes to the cumulative effect of the stress and strain of all those people living so closely together, and the need for people to seek out their own healing connection with nature as a remedy for stress, and all imbalances. Arbressence having achieved his Reiki two degree, became interested in the spirit medicines of plants and trees, and sort to learn how to communicate with these life forms. Inspired by Elliot Cohen’s book “Plant Spirit Medicine”, Nathan frequently visited forests, woodlands, and parks to sit with and listen to trees and plants.
One day sat within an Aspen tree Nathan began to get a sense of the air around him brighten and fill with tiny lights, a warm healing energy flowed through him igniting his heart. Then he clearly heard vowl sounds being chanted in his heart. These vowl sounds were to be used as chants within his music to strengthen the connection to the healing rhythms of nature. All the chants Nathan received were different and acted as a vehicle for the spirit medicines of particular plants or trees. While, other chants were longer and acted as a vehicle for the reconnection of humans to the healing rhythms of nature and to assist people in coping with the coming Earth changes.
Nathan strongly feels plant spirit medicine is a valuable form of healing for present times. In light of the fact that the green belts around urban areas are shrinking and our forests and trees are being set on fire, or chopped down. We too as humans need to be aware of our impact on nature. Many people use herbal supplements and tinctures, and teas as a healing aid. There are some who use herbs for their spiritual qualities and their healing effects upon the emotions. These people would benefit greatly from plant spirit medicine healing in a sonic form, as it integrates the spiritual healing qualities of plants and trees within us, using the vehicle of sound, which is able to penetrate physical matter. Although the plant medicine does not provide one with the healing minerals and chemicals found in its physical form, it does provide us with a deep connection to the spiritual attributes of these medicinal trees and plants, as an aid to healing and way of attaining spiritual reconnection and balance with the healing rhythms of nature.
